Oat Milk Matcha Latte with Dates and Nutmeg

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Sift matcha powder in a sieve to remove lumps.
  2. Gently heat plant-based milk in a saucepan over medium heat until warm (avoid boiling).
  3. In a cup, add sifted matcha powder. Pour a small amount of warm plant-based milk into the cup and stir until matcha is dissolved.
  4. Add remaining warm milk and whisk or stir well.
  5. Add collagen powder and coconut or date sugar, if using, and stir until dissolved
  6. Grate a pinch of nutmeg directly into the latte. Add a pinch of pink salt, if desired. Stir well.
  7. Pour into a mug and enjoy!

Optional: Use a milk frother to create a creamy froth on top. Or blend the mixture for a smooth and creamy drink.

Mexican-Inspired Cocoa Latte with Pepper and Lemon Zest

  1. Gently heat oat milk in a saucepan over medium heat until warm (avoid boiling).
  2. In a cup, add cocoa powder. Pour a small amount of warm oat milk into the cup and stir until cocoa is dissolved.
  3. Add remaining warm oat milk and stir well.
  4. Add collagen powder, if using, and stir until dissolved
  5. Spoon in the sugar, ground cinnamon, cayenne pepper, lemon zest, and a pinch of pink salt. Stir until well incorporated. (Whisk mixture if requiring a smoother texture).
  6. Pour into a mug and savor the delightful Mexican-inspired cocoa latte!
