My Story…
In 2011, while still in my 40s, everything shifted instantly.
A sudden illness led to a surgically induced menopause; something I never expected so early. Were there early signals my body was sending—messages I never understood or even listened to?
At the time, I was balancing a full-time job, managing three active boys, while running on pure adrenaline. All the while making sure my family enjoyed healthy, home-cooked meals. Like many of you, I was a super busy mom.
Breaking the Cycle
After my health crisis, I experienced what’s termed ‘post traumatic growth‘. It pushed me to dig deeper—questioning how the body functions, what went wrong, and why.
Like many, I found myself bouncing from one health practitioner to another, looking for answers that never seemed to clear enough to fit the puzzle.
I spent hours sifting through online information, only to end up with cupboards full of half-used supplements and no real clarity.
It was frustrating. Confusing. Exhausting. But I refused to settle.

My thirst for knowledge and inquisitiveness led me on a transformative journey—from earning a Health Coach certificate to deepening my expertise at the Functional Nutrition Alliance, USA, where I became a Certified Functional Nutrition Counsellor.
Functional nutrition goes beyond symptom management, embracing functional medicine principles and a whole-body approach to health.
Understanding how physiology, genetics, biology, and lifestyle factors interact reveals the root causes of imbalance, empowering true healing from within. This insight transforms our approach to health—not as a one-size-fits-all solution, but as a personalized journey that honors each body’s uniqueness.
